Halloween 2021 Cover/Update

October 31, 2021, 5:33 PM · This will be a very short Halloween post, as to be honest I haven't really been playing my violin very much lately! The last thing I worked on was a spooky Mario cover (which you can listen to here if you'd like) for my YouTube channel. I really enjoyed working on it, because it was a very simple loop, which allowed me to experiment with various synths and different ways of playing the same tune on my violin and melodica. In place of practicing, I've been very busy composing and engraving a Piano Concerto, of which I will discuss more on my main website, which is a sequel of sorts to my 2014 Violin Concerto. That piece was meant to be based on the Grimm's Fairy Tale "Little Snow-White"; this piece is based on "Little Red Riding Hood". I only have two movements done, but I'm very excited about it and will share it next week on my channel.

I will be honest; this was mainly a post to make sure I had written something during the month of October! I promise I will try a bit harder next month as I get bask into the violin a little more. For now, I hope you have a wonderful spooky night!
