Just a quick post to announce/share my Christmas Violin Livestream I am hosting today, December 22, 2020, at 7:30pm on my YouTube channel. I am playing several arrangements from Paul Fehrenbach's book "Christmas Carols for Unaccompanied Violin," which I believe I found on one of Laurie's V.com Holiday Gift Guides last year! It was great to get in touch with Paul Fehrenbach to ask him about playing his arrangements, and this gave me something festive to practice on violin. I've got plenty of projects coming up in the future for the channel, so stay tuned for those! For now, I hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday season, and we'll ring in 2021 before we know it. Things are looking up for my final semester at UIUC, and hopefully by next summer we can all go to live performances and conventions and things again!!
Here is the edited VOD of the livestream:
I cut out the choppy opening when I was having weird microphone issues with my Snowball, and switched to my MacBook Pro built-in mic instead. Not great, but hopefully I will get better equipment soon. This is the video that will be archived to my channel, just like all my other violin videos. Enjoy!
