Stay away from Delta and Alaska Airlines!!!

They seemed to be doing better briefly....but Alaska in particular (a partner of Delta) no longer allows musical instruments of any kind - even if you have a ticket for the instrument (though their website contradicts this; http://www.alaskaair.com/content/travel-info/policies/cabin-seat-baggage.aspx). Stay away!!!
