I need to practice with dissonance

July 17, 2012 01:16

I need to learn to play badly.
No, I have not gone mad, I need to learn to play dissonance, noise, not tuned notes, etc... I started playing with a psychedelic folk band, so on some songs they ask me play all those things, and it's very difficult to me, I feel like a sinner, my mind is not prepared for that. I suppose not, but is there are exercises for that way of playing?
As an example, I show you something similar that I need: Heroin, with John Cale and the Velvet Underground, at the final part of the song (7:40).
