This weekend has been rather full for me. Friday night I had my Conservatorium Chorale concert. This chorale is made up from students from both WAAPA and the School of Music at the University of WEstern Australia. We performed a program of works by Berlioz, it being the Bicentenary year of his birth. The concert went well but on the way home i had lost my ability to sing...
Saturday I had my WAYO philharmonic concert, so I had rehearsals in the morning. It was here that my girlfriend told me that she was having a rough time and thought it would be best if we broke up. Although it broke my heart, I knew it was probably for the best and we are still very good friends.
The concert went great (even though for the second half they didn't set out enough desks for the second violins and I ended up sitting behind the firsts...).
Today (sunday) I had a fairly easy day, Church, some housework, and some composition (I wrote a short piece for solo violin called "Desperate").
Last week of semester this week (yay). Hopefully I'll pass the semester, and get things sorted out with my (ex)girlfriend.
