After waiting about a week or two (what? that's not a long wait?) I finally got the results of auditioning for a little orchestra in my hometown. I am concertmaster...again!!! This time I auditioned for it; last time the strings teacher put me there. So, I would like to learn as much as I can about my position. I have done lots of research on the role of the concertmaster. Are there any tips I could receive from any other concertmasters (or violinists who have always dreamed of being a concertmaster???)
