Britt Institute String Quartet AcademyLast edited by Scott Cole. When: Where: Based on their uniquely engaging and enthusiastic approach to chamber music, the Arianna String Quartet has designed a curriculum that challenges every aspect of their students’ musicianship. Studies include daily ensemble rehearsals, quartet coaching sessions, chamber orchestra master classes, private lessons, score study, and performance opportunities, all presented in a nurturing atmosphere that inspires the highest standards of commitment and dedication. Students are challenged to expand their technique and musicianship in ways that will change their approach to music forever, compelling them to become more expressive and creative performers. The 2008 camp will take place at St. Mary's School in Medford, Oregon. Students also attend all of the Britt Festival Orchestra performances and have the opportunity to participate in special sessions with world-famous soloists and Maestro Peter Bay. Recreational activities in the beautiful Rogue River Valley include a white water rafting trip and an opportunity to attend the world-renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
