Program:
In the small, pleasant town of Chautauqua, where there is only a 7,000 resident population, students ages 17 to 25 come together for seven weeks for private lessons, chamber music, and orchestra. On the violin staff is Almita Vamos, who teaches at Northwestern University in Chicago. The Audubon Quartet is in residency at Chautauqua. Illustrious alumni include the DePue brothers of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
