Program:
Hartwick's summer is divided into two sessions, each of which is two weeks long. Students have the option of participating for two or four weeks. There are orchestras, bands, chamber groups, and lessons for instrumentalists. Hartwick is located on the Hartwick college campus. The violin faculty at Hartwick include Muneko Otani and Jennifer Leshower of the Cassatt String Quartet. The entire Cassatt quartet is in residency there. Each two-week session enrolls approximately 170 students. The average student age is 13-18.
