My primary occupation is making new violins. I like interesting designs but I can also do "old Italian" style. I do not make bows. I sell Water Violet bows. I also make violas. My favorite viola model is inspired by an 18" body baroque instrument used by the Orion Quartet. It has a 16 1/2 " body and a mensure like a 15.9" instrument. The design can be scaled up or down and made with or without sloped upper bouts..
