Joshua's is a good friend, he's an up and coming prodigy, who started violin repair at 14 or 15 yrs old, he has a lot of responsibility running his newer shop, hairs bows and works very resonably compared to expensive LA shops, I haven't seen alot of his work, I know we studied violinmaking with the same teacher RE Evans, and Joshua has also worked closely with Roger Foster in Orange county, I wouldn't recommend him for repairing really expensive instruments, but in a few more years he may be up to it, he's really talented and friendly and is a quick learner. He also has more time to spend with his customers, than a lot of bigger shops, he seems to really specialize in affordable childrens instruments, sincerely Lyndon J Taylor
