Charlie is a wonderful luthier and person. The reason why I haven't been back there was because I tired of dealing with the male secretary of the shop. He's very unpleasant to deal with. I just purchased a wonderful violin and bow from Charles. If I had visited his shop first, I would have saved myself ALOT of time and aggravation. He has 100's on violins, and the largest selection of cellos I've ever seen under one roof! He was very patient, and knowledgeable. A friend of mine has a fine old French cello which suffered major damage a few years ago. Posted via 152.163.100.74 on February 3, 2005 at 8:58 AM (MST) Mr. Magby did an excellent job restoring it and got it sounding even better than before the damage occurred.
