Does anyone know the editor T. Yampolsky?
I have come across a few editions by T. Yampolsky. Does anyone know any information on this editor? Or is the T maybe a mistranslation form Russian?
Maybe he's related to Victor Yampolsky, who auditioned for the conducting job at Peabody when I was there. I believe his father was a violinist?
Vladimir Yampolsky was a major russian pianist.
There is also I. Yampolskiy ( I stands for Israel, a name, not a country), who wrote books on violin history in Russia "Russian violin art", etc.
