Hey, she's going to be at the Grand Canyon Music Festival this year. So you're saying I should go see her perform, huh? ;o)

I looked at her website...I'm rather interested in hearing her play since I recently started playing my new viola...but I'm having trouble downloading her samples...and no one up her carries her CDs.

Greetings,
I think she was the subject of an article in the Strad a few years back. One focusing on the viola.
Cheers,
Buri

She did a little multiple-day, multiple-concert swing through Champaign-Urbana quite a while back with Reiko Uchida (piano). Two very gracious and musical young ladies I would like to hear more often.

She is at Indiana University. One of my students was accepted into her studio as a Freshman and he is delighted with her.

I think she is a Zimbabwian and was recognized as a very gifted player. Her Mother is Japanese and her name is Zulu. The last time I heard her was in 2004 or 2005 in the violinconcerto of Vaughan Williams. She is an American Citizen, so you have all the luck of being able to hear her. I do hope she will be invited back to South Africa so we can hesr her again one day.

Thanks for the link to her site, Craig. What a lovely player, in every sense of the word. Really enjoyed listening to her rendition of the Hindemith Sonata no. 1.
