Violin Dreamin

Life in general: Violin Dreams

Last night I discovered a method for determining the weight of my practise session. Knowing that Force = mass * acceleration, I was able to use the force I applied to the bow, and the speed with which I applied it, to determine the mass of each note. After that, it was a simply a matter of adding them up to get the total mass of the music. Weight is simply mass divided by gravity. I was getting close to a solution when I woke up.

... when I first learned "Chestnuts Roasting" for Christmas busking, I dream't that I was right inside the song, riding the melody on flowing silver ribbons of sound.

Now that I am immersed in the violin, I can think of a piece as I drift. With a certain amount of control of my dreams after sleep takes me, I can alter the intensity and piece. It is a mas of violins playing, and I weep for it until I wake. I think this is how heaven must begin. I only wish I could do this every night.
