I started the shop over 27 years ago, after finishing training at the German (Bavarian) Violin Making School in Mittenwald, followed by three years of repair work with Hans Weisshaar in Hollywood. Although we are a full-service violin shop, we are especially known for our collection of contemporary Italian violins, our high-end varnish retouch restoration service, and our collection of violin music, which is the largest on the West Coast.
