I am an American composer, living and working in The Netherlands. I have written quite a lot of music for violin, including several works for violin solo, as well as music for violin and piano, string quartet and violin and ensemble. Most of my works are published by Donemus (www.donemus.nl). It has been wonderful to compose music on commission for such violinists as Liza Ferschtman, Benjamin Schmid, Heleen Hulst and Monica Germino. My music has also been performed at festivals throughout the world by players such as Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Pekka Kuusisto.
