Colleen AusmanHilo, HawaiiColleen joined Violinist.com on Nov 6, 2009 I am an adult violin student. I had no musical experience before picking up the violin at the age of 50. I have been learning off and on for 9 years. I have had several(6) teachers because of moving around so much. I have played with the Cairns Concert Orchestra, a community orchestra, in Cairns, Australia as a beginner and currently play with the Orchid Isle Youth and Community Orchestra in Hilo, Hawaii.
