Started learning in February 2004 at 44.
2004 was brief, nervous lessons for 6 months.
2005 was pointless with no progress, wrong teacher, illness.
2006 wasn't.
2007 was the year of big learning, new teacher, finally and thankfully.
2008 was the year of vibrato. It continues as long as I take breath.
2009 is the year of making a sound that can be shaped. Not being scared of the sound, not trying to hide from the sound.
2010 has been the year of orchestra and ensemble performances.
2011 onward ever, aiming for Grade 8 AMEB this year? next year?
2012 not the best of years for lesson consistency. Grade 8 still awaits.
