Emma Brown

I am a high school (soon to be college) violist and violinist. I've played violin for about 10 years, and viola for about a year and a half. Viola has mostly become my primary instrument, though I do still play violin from time to time. I'm hoping to pursue a career in music education, or possibly viola performance (or both).

My favorite part of playing is working in ensembles, whether they be small chamber groups or large orchestras. The feeling of working with others to create beautiful music is just the best! I currently play in two local youth orchestras, as well as two high-school/college/adult amateur/semi-professional orchestras (quite a confusing description, but they're hard to describe!)
