I was born and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, where I started my violin education at the Victoriano Lopez School of Music when I was 12 years old. I have been playing for almost 8 years now, I am currently a junior in college studying violin performance. My teacher is Dr. Larisa Elisha, who is a wonderful violinist following the tradition of David Oistrakh. I play in the symphony and string orchestras at my university, as well as the Topeka Symphony Orchestra. I play viola in the honors string quartet. I am also involved in the jazz program at my school, playing the bass guitar. And last but not least, I have recently joined a blues trio (also playing bass guitar) and it is a lot of fun!
