Lindsay Deutsch, one of today’s most compelling young violinists, has performed throughout the US and Canada. She has performed with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and Colorado Symphony conducted by Jeffrey Kahane, the New West Symphony and McGill Chamber Orchestra in Montreal conducted by Boris Brott, the Fort Worth, Knoxville, San Diego, Palm Springs Symphonies as well as many others.
In the 2007-2008 season, Ms. Deutsch will perform with the Las Cruces, Rio Hondo, Marina del Rey, New West, and Beach Cities Symphonies as well as the National Academy Orchestra in Toronto, and the San Diego and Boulder Chamber Orchestras. Her performances are often heard on National Public Radio including “Performance Today” and her movie credits include the solo violin sound track for the 2006 movie “The Good Shepherd” starring Robert De Niro. Lindsay is passionate about audience development. She is the co-founder of “Classics Alive” an organization dedicated to bringing the arts to youth.
