Studied violin with Jascha Brodsky, chamber music with Orlando Cole, Yumi Ninomiya-Scott and Brodsky. Other teachers and influences were Nelly Soregi and Alberto Lysy.
Students have performed as soloists with orchestras such as Cleveland, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, National Symphony, Minnesota, San Francisco, Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Tokyo, Rotterdam, Montreal, Royal Philharmonic (London), Hong Kong, etc. He was featured in a 5 page article in the November 2001 issue of the STRAD magazine.
