Rick Barker

I was concert master of many school and graduate orchestras while studying violin. I became more interested in other violin music and dropped out of the classical scene for more than 20 years (playing jazz, blue grass, rock)and have been back for close to the last 10 years. I suffered an accident which has resulted in myofascial pain but I still play in professional ensembles and some recitals. I prefer to make violins now.
