I am a founding member of the Emerson String Quartet, but enjoy playing concertos and recitals when opportunities arise. In addition to my recordings with the ESQ, I have recorded the Bach Sonatas and Partitas, Bartok Duos and Sonatas and some short pieces by Aaron Copland. A novel on which I worked intermittently for many years is being published by Simon & Schuster in the summer of 2007. It is about a violinist in Germany during World War II.
