I am a fan of the violin, and violin concertos in particular. While I enjoy the standards, I like to keep up with new music as well. For example, from the past 20 years, I particularly enjoy works by Dutileux, Lutoslawski, Schnittke, John Adams (the Violin Concerto as well as Dharma at Big Sur), Edgar Meyer, Saariaho, Picker and Bolcom (just to name a few).
