I started violin in 4th grade in the public school system. I didn't really have the opportunity to take it seriously until 9th grade at the age of 15 where I began to make tremendous progress. Now, I've completed my sophomore year as a music education major at The College of New Jersey, studying with Mr. Ruotao Mao. My desire is to enter graduate school for theory pedagogy, or performance. I'm a member of ASTA.

In addition to my violin pursuits, I pay extra tuition to study private piano with Dr. Joanna Chao, who is also on the faculty of the Julliard Pre-college division, where she teaches ear-training.
