I have taught many violinists from age six to twenty. I love working with students who really want to play the violin "well" and also share, with me, an overall love of music. I have tried to impress upon my students the importance of the discipline that is needed when studying this art, but also helping them understand that through nurturing this discipline, they in turn may receive much joy.

I have been perfoming professionally since 1988. I have been a member of such orchestras as the Kalamazoo Sypmhony, the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra and the Southwest Florida Symphony. I've also had the opportunity of performing with many other orchestras in Michigan, Florida, Texas, and now Calfornia. I have also participated in many small chamber ensembles and been given chances to play and record with such artist's as Sara Hickman, who is a local Austin, Texas singer/guitarist. My music has taken me all over the U.S. and also to China, Japan, and Luxembourg.

I am now teaching at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music.
