 Mili Leitner19 Linden RoadBedford, United Kingdom Phone: 0044 7513 733 777 Mili joined Violinist.com on Dec 10, 2005 Mili is studying on a scholarship at Trinity College of Music, where she learns with Ofer Falk (leader of the Allegri Quartet) and Stephanie Gonley (leader of the English Chamber Orchestra). She has received coaching from Ben Zander, Peter Cropper, The Sacconi Quartet, David Kenedy, Martin Hughes, Ben Holland and Pedro Cortinas. She previously studied with Chris White as a major music scholar at Uppingham School. Mili's recital performances have taken her around the UK, France and Israel. In 2009 she gave her London solo recital debut and gave performances in Israel, Venice and France. She has upcoming concerts scheduled in London, York, Bedford and France. Her concerto appearances include Shostakovich’s 1st Concerto as the final concert of the Uppingham 2008 lunchtime concert series and Corelli’s “Christmas Concerto” (directing from the violin) in Peterborough Cathedral, December 2007. In the summers of 2008-9 Mili was invited to attend the Jerusalem Academy of Music’s International Summer Institute for Strings where she studied violin under Yehonatan Berick (international soloist), and Nava Milo (Tel Aviv and Jerusalem Conservatoires), and chamber music with Rachel Shapiro. Mili enjoys chamber music, having led quartets from a young age and performed in many concerts and masterclasses in such a role. She currently leads the Stokowski Quartet at Trinity College of Music. Her orchestral roles have included co-leader of the National Schools’ Symphony Orchestra (with an HSBC scholarship), guest leader of Rugby Sinfonia on tour to Italy and co-principal second violin of the London Conservatoires Orchestra.
