Really I am a guitarist (pro level - rock) and pianist (classically trained), but my crust is earned from business. I have just taken up the violion and am somewhat amazed that there is so little on the web compared with guitars. I have just been to Cremona and visited several luthiers, seen the strads, seen and heard (amazingly lucky!) the del gesu in Genoa - and bought a beautiful hand made violin from a delightfil luthier in Cremona. Now the journey begins and I may write a blog about the trials and tribulations of a budding violinist in the UK.
