I am begining the process of becomming a luthier and want to eventually move entirely in this direction professionally. I play a variety of mucic but focus mainly on cajun. As a professional furnituremaker, I often think when I am making something, what it would sound like if it were a violin, viola or cello. And use this "image" to guide my design.
