Eclectic is me! Born and raised in Los Angeles, I started the violin when I was 4. My dad was a classically trained pianist and professional musician who was a very successful jazz performer there so I learned improvising along with the classical rep. I won an audition with the Baltimore Symphony while still a student in 1973 then joined the 1st violin section of the Toronto Symphony in 1975, and am still there. About 4 years ago, I got into bluegrass/country and now also play and sing in several bands which are very active. Was in Nashville for the IBMA in October Showcasing and jamming.
