I've been playing violin since age 10 and am now thirtysomething. My husband and I have a 10-year-old son, Benjamin, and I homeschool him. My professional career is as a book editor/proofreader, but my first love is the violin. I studied music in college but decided against a professional career.
Currently I play with the Cadillac Area Symphony Orchestra, a small community group in my neck of the woods. We're not great, but we have a lot of fun. And my pianist friend (also Amy) and I have formed our own dynamic duo--Les Deux Amies--to play for area arts festivals, weddings, and an annual recital.
