My teaching experiences include:
• BM in Music Education, with a minor in Spanish and a Performance certificate.
• Private lessons - 8 years
• Long-term substitute for the West Genesee Middle School Orchestra Director (where I also taught high school lessons)
• Student Teaching for 3-12 grades in Syracuse City Schools, and 8-12 grades in Baldwinsville Central Schools.
• Crane Youth Music counselor/string faculty assistant for three summer sessions.

I have played in a jazz combo opening for Joey DeFrancesco, the Jazz String Project at Crane, and received a scholarship to investigate the role of the violin in mariachi and flamenco music.

I also am interested in chamber works, world music, and new music. I enjoy trying new things and working with the composer and other instruments, especially the guitar.
