I recently graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors degree in Music. I've been fortunate to study viola for 7 years with a wonderful teacher/friend who's become like a second mother to me. In addition to studying viola privately I teach a violin program at a middle and elementary school, occasionally play for the San Diego Lyric Opera, as well as coach a viola class for a private Suzuki group. I've taught for 5 years or so but I still feel like I have so much to learn about what it takes to become a successful music teacher.

My goal is life is to be like Dorothy Delay, like Roberta Guaspari-Tzavaras, like Richard Dreyfus in Mr. Hollands Opus. I want to make music fun, I want to inspire others, I want to create good musicians. It's going to be a long road to get there but I will keep trying until I succeed.
