![]() Those who can't play . . . singSeptember 13, 2008 at 9:41 PM During my recent hiatus from practicing due to tendonitis, I found myself singing much more than usual. In the car, in my room, outside . . . I guess I just needed a musical outlet in the absence of my violin. I found that I really enjoy singing actually, and it's something I'd like to keep at.While playing around with this arrangement, I also came to appreciate all those partwriting rules that music theory has pounded into my head. ;)

Life gave you a lemon, and you made us a treat of lemonade. Thank you!

What beautiful music to listen to on a Sunday morning!Posted on September 14, 2008 at 11:34 AM It reminded me a bit of this piece, If Ye Love Me, by Tallis, that I sang in a church choir years ago and loved so much I tried to learn to play it on the piano, where it also reminded me of music theory part-writing rules.
From Royce Faina
If that is you singing, you have a beautiful voice, and you are very tallented at singing also! Inspite of my cheesy computer I liked what I heard and I truly and sincerly mean that!

That was beautiful. You certainly should keep on singing. You started with such a simple theme and added to it without ever losing that touch of simplicity. The simplicity and sweetness go so well with the words. You have said so much with so little. That is real art.
