I've known how to play in tune for awhile. However, I haven't actually been doing it until recently. It has made a large improvement in the quality of my sound, as well as the quantity. I get a fuller sound, and I also play more because I enjoy it.

Also, today, I bought two CDs.

1. Tchaikovsky
Piano Concerto No. 1
Georges Cziffra
Philharmonia Orchestra
Andre Vandernoot

Violin Concerto
Leonid Kogan
Orchestre de la Societe des Concerts du Conservatoire
Constantin Silvestri

2.Berg/Schoenberg
Berg Concerto for Violin
Henryk Szeryng
Berlin Philharmonic
Rafael Kubelik

Schoenberg Piano Concerto Op. 42
Alfred Brendel
Bavarian Radio Symphony orchestra
Rafael Kubelik

Schoenberg Violin Concerto
Zvi Zeitlin
Berlin Philharmonic
Rafael Kubelik

I must say this. If there is one thing I have ever learned about practicing, it is that you must think while you practice in order to get work done. Practicing mindlessly is a waste of time.
