Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore....

January 25, 2006 11:37

Greetings from Heidelberg, Germany! I am going to be living here for 6 months while my dad works at the university of Heidelberg. Some of you already knew this because Carley revealed this in a certain discussion. How did you even find that? I posted it months ago!

I had a picture to post of facewood (have you ever seen that horrid stuff?) but it's on the wrong computer. Pity, it scares me and I thought that you all would like to see it.

In other news (you are going to think I'm crazy) I had another dream that Joshua Bell was on the Oprah show. It's destiny! If I can't get even get Joshua Bell on the Oprah show...I will not die happy. You must aid me in my quest! www.oprah.com

Man, I packed so much music! Like three binders full not to mention all the books. Seems like everything from A major scales to Zigeunerweisen (it is ALWAYS 'eu,' Linda).

I won't have internet for another 2-3 weeks, but there is an internet café near to our rented house. I'm afraid to leave this site for too long...I came back here and had absolutely no idea what was going on. Eric is now 'ES the paranoid' and is no longer blogging? The Evil One is making crazy pictures?! What else has happened in my absence?

Now I'll be on roughly the same time as Bram, so I'll be able to catch him before things are up too long. You're safe with me, violinist.commies! No more "on-edgeness" I hope.

My departure

January 18, 2006 19:23

The departure tomorrow is big...it will be my permanant location temporarily. If that was spelled right or makes any sense. And if I can write in complete sentences. I will reveal my mysterious ways on probably Saturday.

Hahn's Barber 3rd movement = WOW

Check out the Jakers! theme song by clicking "Play" on this link:
Jakers!

I took my dog to the beach the other day.

I got my dog new tags today...I am going to miss him so much!

Newfoundlands (the dogs) are awesome. SOME of my roots are in Newfoundland. I really want to visit someday.

Google mail tailors the adds to your most recent google searches, so becuase I was looking up Jakers!, they have a Jay Jay the Jet Plane add on right now.

My signature has improved.

When I was 4 I wanted to be a bunny holder when I grew up.

The other day, my friends dad (the director of the KC Sym w/Michael Stern) gave me a free Joshua Bell CD/DVD! It was "Romance of the Violin."

I really should email Oprah again telling her where I actually am...

I got a fortune the other day "Understand your personal power and use it to your advantage." And I thought aloud 'What is my personal power....' My 4-year-old sis chimed in "Playing the violin!" Gosh, I love little kids (sometimes). Another fortune I got said "Many pleasures lie ahead." I love fortune cookies all the time!

Where do you think I am going? Those of you who know...NOT A WORD!

Where in the world is Carmen San Di-Sydney?

January 16, 2006 13:25

Hey,I'm going to have y'all guess where I am right now. I'll give you a few hints and then, after I get a few comments, tell you.
- Many violinist.commies live in the state where this city is.
- 1 violinist.commie lives in the actually city.
- The traffic is terrible.
- It is near the coast.

What city is this?

Hehe, sorry guys. You are ALL WRONG! As much as I would like to visit the destinations mentioned...

CLARE CHU, I AM IN FREMONT, CA! You know what I look like, so if you see my, don't be shy. I am near Niles and often times I will be walking at the Reservoir (if that is what you call it). I have a fluffy white Samoyed dog with me.

Now, my journey is far from over. In fact, I am being quite trixy heading in the wrong direction of my final destination. Fear not! The enigma will soon be explained.

'I am free of my chains! Literally!' - Kerah Williams

January 11, 2006 18:50

As promised, here is a picture of me brace-free. I was on cloud 9 and then came home to that nightmare (JK ;-) of a blog that really scared me, but I’m all better now (as seen from the photo which was taken minutes ago).

Photo

Someone throw me a bone here. How do I rotate this photo?

Now, that is not the only reason I am on here today. Right now, I am going to tell you of a journey that I will embark on in a few days. Kansas will be not but a distant memory in the vast expanse of my mind. That was a little bit of self-complimenting, but do your best to ignore it ;-). Anyway, I may find time to keep you updated in the midst of this adventure, but for now, assume you will not be hearing from me for a week or two.

Now I have few personal announcements:

Bram – Don’t do anything you’ll regret later with this photo. ; )

Brian T. (you know who you are) – Stop “lurking” on this site and register! The Kansas space on this site will be nonexistent in a few days if you don’t do something! Heck, you’re a violinist, and I need to be informed on what is going on in orchestra.
