I wanted to let you know about a new feature that we'll be debuting on Violinist.com on Sept. 1. It's a commercial directory, one that will provide a convenient place for you to find all the shops, retailers, manufacturers, schools and organizations that are supporting Violinist.com.
The directory will appear at violinist.com/shop, and you can see a prototype by following that link.
Whenever you need an instrument or accessories, or are looking for a school, camp or festival, we hope that you'll use this page to look for and support the businesses and organizations that support this site.
If you are a business person or administrator, we hope that you'll consider booking space in our new directory, too. If you've been following the site for a while, you know that Violinist.com is home to an engaged community of violin professionals, students and fans - and a great place to find potential customers, clients and students.
We're offering listings in the new directory for just $600 for the year. In addition, organizations that book by the Sept. 1 launch also will receive a text link to their website in the right-side navigation on all pages of Violinist.com for the next 12 months.
We believe that you won't find a better return on a $600 advertising investment anywhere. And your order will help support independent reporting and writing on Violinist.com, providing needed coverage of the violin and classical music, as well as a forum to violinists around the world. We've already booked several new sponsors into the directory, and will be limited the number of listings sold, so if you are interested, please contact me ASAP.
If you'd like to book your space in the directory, or just want to get more information, please email me at robert @ violinist.com. You can read more about the sponsorship and financial support opportunities on the website at violinist.com/advertising.
Thank you, again, for supporting Violinist.com!
