Advice from a flutist who has played the Godard Suite with orchestra:

Watch out for the triplets in the 3rd movement! (Seems like fingering 1-3-2 over & over again would work)

Thanks Bruce! I have the first violin solo part, which is actually rather boring on the face of it (the rest of the section is doing these 16th note runs and I have dotted half notes). Is there anything that I should keep in mind when playing with the Flautist? Also, could you recommend a good recording?
