I've got a sinus infection and feel pretty blah. I called my doctor to get a prescription for an antibiotic, and tonight I walked through the snow to pick it up. I walked slowly and stopped frequently, but I walked. It was very pretty out. We've got only about 2 or 3 inches of new snow, and it's all white and pretty. There are very few cars out and the grocery store/pharmacy was deserted. The silence outside was beautiful. The views from the windows of my condo are great. The bare branches of the trees in the woods are covered with white in intricate lacey patterns, and they stand out in the bright lights on the outside of the buildings. The unit below mine is inhabited by numerous Hispanic men, women, and children. They collaborated on building a snowman, and they did a great job. The snowman has arms made of twigs, a necktie, and a funky hat. His eyes and nose are made of some very fat carrots. I'll try to photograph it tomorrow before the snow melts. It's really not at all cold out.
