Bach, Youtube, SAT, Ringtones

January 29, 2008 20:49

I'm almost done with the Bach Invention No 8. After like 20 weeks of working on it I've almost got it perfect. Now we're working on that cool scale exercise. And I'm starting octave scale exercises etude thing. I really hope that I can do this really well. I've been trying to better myself for college in two years. I hope that I can have audition pieces ready. The Back Invention is going to be one of the pieces I guess.
Youtube uploading is going well. Although I've only re-uploaded one of my videos. Four to go. I don't know if I'll get that far.
I have also set up the date for my SAT. I really hope that I can get a good enough score. Pensacola Christian College needs a minimum score of 1120. That shouldn't really be hard to do since one would only have to get half of the questions correct. Is that hard?
I also got a ringtone for my cell phone. Super Mario Bros. Theme Song. YAY!

New Piano Scale Training

January 23, 2008 21:16

Since I have completed ever major scale, my piano teacher has me doing these cool scale exercises.
Here's the exercise just in case any piano players want to try it.
1. Set the metronome to 60bpm 4/4 time
2. Play one octave C scale in quarter notes. (When you get to the top make sure that you play the C again.)
3. Play two octave C scale in eighth notes. (When you get to the top make sure that you play the C again as a quarter note.)
4. Play three octave C scale in triplets. (When you get to the top make sure that you play the C again as a quarter note[I think].)
5. Play four octave C scale in 16th notes. (When you get to the top make sure that you play the C again as a quarter note [I think].)

If you play these correctly it will even out.

I want a grand piano if you would like to donate please e-mail me. Only joking, kind of.

Violin/Flute and Guitar Duet

January 11, 2008 01:16

I want to get my mandolin strings adjusted really bad. The strings are too high and it's pretty hard to play. That's the mandolin that I learned on but now that I've tried a mandolin easier than mine, I need mine easier now. But I'm not sure how much it'll cost. I hope it's not too much. I don't have that much money.

The flute is coming along goreously. (Is that spelled correctly) Anyways I love playing the flute.

I got to play a duet with my friend, who plays really good guitar. I'm going to post it on here so it'll be under my music please listen to it and post a comment.

Thanks. I want a grand piano, if you would like to donate please e-mail me. Only joking, kind of.
