Merry Christmas!

December 26, 2005 at 2:59 AM

Getting in good violin practice yesterday and today. My family is around and have to listen. We also watched my recital videos. And I played for my aunt and mother, then played hymns and carols with my brother (who plays the piano). Nothing like a captive audience.

I did get a couple of good CDs from BROINC. My favorite is Wieniawski, Scherzo-Tarantella; Polonaises 1 & 2; Romance from 2nd Violin Concerto; Faust Fantasy; Legende; Caprice in a; Variations on an Original Theme. (Corey Cerovsek, violin w.Katja Cerovsek, piano)

Nice deep Del Gesu sound. It is played with Wieniawski's D.G. Thanks to Gerald for recommending.
