63 HOARFROST AND SKATING PHOTO'S + 5KM skating oval FLEVONICE

December 27, 2007 at 12:14 PM

HERE MUCH MORE PHOTO'S, 63OF HOARFROST AND SKATING on nature-ice:

Most skating ovals in the world are 400 meter or shorter, but since 2 weeks we have in Holland a skating oval of 5000 meter, 5 KM!!!, because we miss strong winters the last years, because of climat changes. It is called FLEVONICE . FLEVO IN ICE (English internet influence). Flevoland is a part of the Netherlands below sea level and they pump the water over a dike.
Here some picture of this artificial-ice oval of 5km in FLEVONICE and my body-protection, because you can fall hard on the ice and skates are sharp as knives and I also want to play violin without injuries:

A lot of bodyprotectors for head, shoulders(from ice-hockey), elbows, knee's, hips and underback (black rubber piece in my black dress),cut-proof socks and underleg-protectors against other skates hitting my legs.

safety first

The result of all the protection

The track photografhed from a plane.

That is absolutely amazing! My kids are figure skaters and they would love to come and skate on your track.
