5 violinlessons after 25 years

July 5, 2006 at 10:57 AM

Yesterday I had my last violinlesson from Natasja van Doesburg http://www.vioollessen.nl before the holiday. It was very hot wheather, so I put my head 2 times under a water-tap to cool down. In thoses lessons I learn bowing techniques from Sevcek (green book number 6) and changing from strings Kreisler etudes number 10. Also the difference between forte (to the bridge and pressing with your right hand pointing finger)and piano (from the bridge).
After her holiday we will begin to improve my vibrato.
And for possible auditions or chambermusic evenings from orchestra's I am studying opus 22 nr. 3 Reverie from Henri Vieuxtemps (it is only recorded by Rugerio Ricci and Phillippe Koch, as far as I know) and she is writing the right positions with fingersettings near the notes.
She has a strong gigle after remarks of me, even when I don't try to be funny, but I am sure she will Laugh Out Loud (LOL), if Linda makes a foto of her with the same cow mask like she did with a foto of me.

Thanks Bill for the fast fotoshopping. I hope Natasja also likes this humor.
