New cd Janine Jansen Bruch1/Mendelssohn in e

Tomorrow is the release of the new cd of Janine Jansen. She plays the Bruch1/Mendelssohn in e violinconcerto's and Romance for viola of Mendelssohn with the Gewandhausorchester and conductor Riccardo Chailly . Her aim is again to score gold = 15.000 cd's, like her 1th cd and her 4seasons-cd. Now only her shoulder is naked.

Let me guess: next cd : Tsjaikovsky violinconcerto + Lieu Cher; than Brahms violinconcerto; than Beethoven violinconcerto + 2 BeethovenRomances; than 3thSiant-Sanes + Lalo Symf. Espagnole:......than Britten + 2th violinconcerto of ShostakoWitz. Witz, joke. Of course not the last. Too obscure. It won't sell over 15.000.

15,000 CDs? You could sell that many out of the trunk of a car or standing on the street corner for a couple days. Especially with a little bit of shoulder showing.

They're making a mistake selling it for the music that's on it. Thinking people have to like the music to want the CD is bad strategy. Run it like Amway. Put an ad in the paper for 1000 people. Sell them each 15 CDs at the usual wholesale price. Tell them they can sell them for twice what they paid for them. Your job is done. This takes care of her problem and yours both. She gets all those CDs out of her garage, and you get Shostakowitch 1 recorded. Ha...have to like the music before you buy the CD. Where did they come up with that.
