Joy

It's been a while since i have written in here. I was not very inspired to do so before; but i must express a bit of my feelings about this road we are on.

I have been working lately with the Seitz 5th Violin Concerto 1st and 3rd movements. I have improved enormously in those two and am quite able to start speeding up a bit. It is a joy to be able to play all those double stops on the 3rd movement, up to tempo, with improving intonation. It was quite a surprise, actually. I started the 3rd movement one day, and could not play the double stops. There was no way i could play that, i thought... Two days later i was playing it completely. It was really a joy.

Anyway. I still must improve greatly on those two. The 1st movement i need to relax more, my bowings are becoming a little stiff and harsh sometimes, mostly on the 16th notes at the middle-end part. Same thing on the 3rd movement. Eventually its going to be great. I have faith on that.

I'm not Following the Suzuki book, I'm studiyng Flesch scales, Kayser Etudes (up to the 10th) and those 2 concertos.

Also i would like to thank the violinist Anastasia Khitruk for sending me an autographed picture! Thank you very much!! I am very much your fan and really like your playing!!

Best wishes to everyone!!
