Karen - I put copies of all music into a notebook, which I take around with me. Hard to lose. In any event, my orch does not use bound sheet music except for the Messiah. Another advantage to copying whatever sheet music you are given is that you can enlarge its size. That's a great help for older folks like me. If you are interested, there is a whole pile of Godard's violin music over on IMSLP, including the "Concerto Romantique", and four sonatas.
