Wow, Ms. Niles, that must have been great! Also a great blog-I felt like I was there with you. You are a fabulous writer.
I am not surprised that Mr. Bell played so well-he always does. Definitely one of the best players out there today.
When will the interview be up?

Glad you enjoyed the performance, Laurie! I heard Josh play the Intro & Rondo Capriccioso in '05 when he was inducted in to the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame and it was just as magnificent then as it seems it was now.
(yeah, what Brian asked.... ?)

Laurie, that was a great little trip you took us on. If you play half as well as you write you must be quite an accomplished violinist.

Well we just did the interview today; very nice to talk with Joshua Bell, and I think everyone will really enjoy what he had to say. Will be posting it in the next 3-4 days! :)

Laurie I was also at the bowl last night and reading your review was like watching the performance again on video. Creates quite a vivid visual image for those who were not there to see it live.

Thanks so much for that beautiful blog, Laurie. You wrote so vividly that I felt like I was there with you. Your explanations of the music itself were wonderful, too. You've got to be a really, really good musician to understand the music as well as you obviously do and a really, really good teacher to enable your readers to understand it, too. I'm looking forward to reading your interview with JB. I'm sure you'll enlighten us about the man and his artistry.
