Greetings,
it seems to be a usefulanalog of playign a cocnerto. For a few minutes I was weaving in and out of four lanes of traffic on foot and tryign to derail a mercedes Benz without getting killed. It presented such an interesitng array of logistical problems I didn`t have time to feel anythign very much. I may wear my underpants outside my tights for the next week or so.
Cheers,
Buri

That's right!!! Wow, Buri, we did wear tights of some sort: all cotton long john all winter long under baggy pants. And they still do these days. I almost forgot all about it!

How about playing under the bridge? My experience, also in Japan, was in a railroad underpass in a busy section of Tokyo. Traffic inched past a stalled car merging into the next lane to get around it. As I took my turn I noticed that the driver was slumped over the wheel. I pulled in front of him thinking that I might have to use the CPR skills that I had just barely learned (and had no confidence I knew). I rushed back and pounded on his window. Gratefully he looked up at me and apologized for falling asleep (in mid-afternoon).
